Unlocking Your Machine

If you are experiencing difficulty getting your key to turn in the top door lock of your machine this video should assist.

Before you begin ensure you have verified that the key number is different from the lower door lock i.e. Open the lower door and put this and any other keys bearing the same key number to one side
Replacing Lamps
This video shows how to identify and replace any lamps on your machine.

When purchasing replacements you will need 10mm for buttons and on some reels. 5mm lamps are used in all other areas except in pre-1997 machines that open from the back

Note Validator & Payout Errors (Vega)

Coin Mechanism Cleaning
If your machines coin acceptance is poor or your machine is displaying error messages relating to the coin mechanism it is is good idea to remove the coin mechanism for cleaning

This can improve acceptance, prevent future coin jams and resolve errors like 'Coin Mech Error 10' & strim alarms.
DES Pairing Guide
If your machine has an MEI Cashflow 9524e coin mech (Yellow) instead of an SR5 DES (Blue reject) then follow this procedure: 1. Move switch 6 on the bank of 8 switches on the coin mechanism to the upward position 2. Ensure the bottom door has been removed and the top door is open with the keys in the lock. 3. Switch the machine on. 4. Switch the machine on and wait for it to display 'READ METERS' 5. Return switch 6 to the downward position. 6. Switch the machine off/on and the process should be complete.
